Moving to Ceredigion – CERED

A fresh and vibrant website to work on – we were approached by CERED (Menter Iaith Ceredigion) around Christmas to provide a quote on a variety of works that needed doing on the previous website for Moving to Ceredigion – these works included updating content, fixing issues with outdating software and so on.

The previous system used meant that it would be very time consuming to do the changes required, and after a discussion it was decided a fresh look on a new platform would suit the website and CERED. We opted for WordPress, so that CERED users can login to the website easily and update the content as needed, without having to pay a website designer to do the work for them. We also needed to ensure that the website design was bilingual, and seemless.

The website itself was a joy to design, working with a fresh and vibrant colour palette. The aim was to create a website that was clutter free, had an easy to use navigation menu and also social media buttons in the footer. With a splattering of images from the local area, the website quickly came together and we’re all very pleased with the results!

Perhaps the website will inspire you to move to Ceredigion?

From the rugged windswept slopes of the Cambrian Mountains, the heartland of red kite country, to its charming coastal towns and villages, Ceredigion is a picturesque and historic location, with a range of activities for young and old. Inland, the historic market towns of Lampeter, Llandysul and Tregaron hint at the importance of agriculture to the county’s history. Each has its own character, with local shops, cafes and pubs to explore. Why not spend some time in the local library and read up on local history, borrow that new novel, or check out the notice board to see what’s happening in the area.
