It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron Comprehensive School on the launch of their new website – and what a change it is to the old one! The old website was very dated, with bloated content and also hard for the staff to login and edit – which is where we came in, and WordPress!
The new website needed to be bilingual, with staff access to update pages and information as and when they needed to. The school also wanted to completely change the menu, making it much easier for visitors of the site to find the information they needed as easily as possible.
With the ongoing pandemic, it was also important to Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron that there was a dedicated area for the virtual ‘open evenings’ – giving pupuls in Year 6 and Year 11 a chance to really explore the school as best as possible, and learn about all of the different subjects and departments – despite being online only.
