How much does a website cost?

This really depends on what you want the website to do. The more you want the website to do, in terms of its functionality, the more it will cost.

We’re always happy to chat about your budget and let you know what’s possible for the money. We also feel it’s important to discuss your project with us, so we can outline what we feel you may or may not need.

Do you offer payment plans?

We understand that investing in a website can be quite a commitment, but also that having a website is a key part of any business. We’re more than happy to be flexible when it comes to payments, and are happy to discuss payment plans such as monthly payments.

What is hosting?

Hosting is the little bit of the internet that you rent, where your website lives almost. Every live website is hosted somewhere.

If you have a website created by us, we’ll recommend using our own hosting. However, you can stick to your current hosting if you prefer.

We’re also happy to host your website if you aren’t happy with your current hosts. Even if we didn’t make the website for you.

Can I move my website to you?

Yes – we’ve worked with plenty of clients who have had a website developed elsewhere, and moved their hosting and domain services over to us.

Can you do some work on my website?

We work with many clients whose website we didn’t originally build. In most cases we can, but we’ll always ask to have a quick look at the site to make sure we know the technology it’s built with.

How does your website process work?

We have four key stages for our website design.

We always like to have a good chat or meeting with you before we send over a quote and our T&Cs. It gives us a chance to get to know you, your business and where we can help.

Once we’re all happy, we’ll head off and create some design concepts.

We start accepting content off you (images, text) and work towards one design, which we build using your content and get ready to go live.

As we near ‘sign off’, we’ll also look at getting your new hosting package set up, and any emails.

Will I have a say when it comes to the website design?

Of course! We will always provide you with our professional opinion if we think something might not work. However, we always want you to be honest, and encourage feedback at all stages.

Can I spread the cost of a website?

Yes – we know that sometimes paying out in one go can be tricky for small businesses and individuals, therefore we’re always happy to discuss payment options, such as monthly payments during development and once the website is live.

Do you have monthly maintenance packages?

Yes! Care Plans, and they cover a whole range of things. This includes making sure your website is secure, that the software is up to date, monitoring for hackers, allocating time to work on your SEO and more. View our packages here.

I’m looking for something more specific, with special features, can you help?

We have a lot of expertise working in custom development, especially in terms of plugins, reporting, custom functionality and more.

If you’re looking for functionality that’s not in the standard requirements of a website, please do get in touch to discuss. If we can’t help, we might know someone who can.

What happens once my website is live?

Relax! Your new site is live, and it should soon start ranking on the search engines.

The main recommendation from us would be research into SEO, as this is a long term commitment for you and your new website.

Don’t forget to market your new website on social medial, and plan your digital marketing strategy.

We do have website care plans available which you can pay for monthly, meaning we look after some of the more technical aspects of your site for you, and are also at the end of an email or call for support and advice. We’re here to help!

 

I’m not just looking for a website, what other services can you help me with?

Yes! Whilst most of our clients ask us for website design, hosting and email services,  we also offer search engine optimisation services, social media services, training packages and digital marketing.

Are you VAT registered?

Yes, Gwe Cambrian Web Cyf is VAT registered and so for any prices you see on our website, please remember to add VAT on top.
